Got Stamps?

If it can sit still, it can be stamped!

Driver Treats

I made two of these for my daughter’s bus drivers.  Just a little thank you for getting her to and from school safely.

Here Comes the Bride

One of the weddings I am in this summer is for my best girlfriend, Renee.  We have known each other since college and are two peas in a pod.  This is the invitation for her shower and bachelorette party I threw her.

For Renee’s shower, I stamped and made TWO three tier cakes out of paper.  Inside of them, I put cream cheese mints that I made.  60 slices later, I was sick of cake.  In all seriousness, I loved how these turned out!  These were for her shower in Syracuse.

Here is a chocolate coffee shower gift that I made.  I used our new rub-ons on this tin I found at the dollar spot.  In the tin is Starbucks Chocolate & Starbucks Coffee.

This favor was for her shower in Poughkeepsie:

Easter Goodies

Here are the baskets that I made for my parents and husband for Easter.  Just take a square piece of cardstock, score into thirds ( so you have 9 squares ), and cut the vertical score lines closest to you and farthest from you.  Pull the ends to meet in the middle.  Embellish as desired!

Chocolate Tin Purse

I went Easter shopping at our local Christmas Tree Shop this weekend (I know, that seems a little bass ackwards…) and found these tins for $1.  I just KNEW that I could fit either peppermint patties or nuggets in them.  The nuggets fit the best.  Originally, it had a plastic insert with fudge in it.  Here are pics of the before and after!!

I used my crop-a-dile to punch holes for the handle and to make a ribbon hinge.

Wish Card

wish-card-closed.jpg     wish-card-open.jpg

I recently saw a card in Paper Crafts magazine, and I just had to reproduce it.  There was no template, so I came up with one on my own.  If you pull on the sides, it opens up to reveal money (or whatever you put in it).   I used Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White (for the mechanism) and Berry Bliss paper.  I also used the faux tile technique and sponged in Pretty in Pink.  All stamping is done with “One of a Kind”. I have had many requests for a tutorial, so keep your eyes peeled!

Sweet Little Box

Sweet Little One Box

Sale-a-Bration is almost over, and my how time has flown!  I was inspired to make this box, and mimic the one that is on the SAB catalog cover.  My sister is having a baby and I this is what I wrapped her first presents in.  The stars were all punched out using the small star punch.

Valentine’s Teacher Basket

I made this to put in the teacher lounge in my kids’ school as a thank you for what they do for all of the children.  Not only do they teach, but they listen, they learn, they laugh, they inspire, they raise self-esteem, they cry, they enable, they lift up, they help, and they love.  Happy Heart Day is the set that used, with Real Red cardstock and the Photo Corners punch.  dsc07817.jpg

Ghiardelli Holder

Here is a Ghiardelli chocolate holder, that I made using the True Friend stamp set.  This was SOOOO very easy, I couldn’t believe how fast it went together.  Thanks to Sonja Gonzalez for the tutorial!true-ghiardelli-holder.jpg

Faux Snowglobe

dsc06661_by_conductorchikjpg.jpg

Here is my first attempt at a faux snowglobe. It really is WAY easier than it looks!

1) Using a cutting system, cut a transparency in a 2 7/8″ circle, leaving a small gap before you complete the circle (you can then cut a tab).
2) Stamp your snowflake in stazon white, so that the top is opposite the tab.
3) Apply white embossing powder on your image and flick off.
4) Emboss the snowflake.
5) Wait a few minutes, then roll up and insert into glass ornmanent, keeping the tab sticking up into the top of the ornament.
6) Add Buffalo Snow, or Diamond Dust into the ornament.
7) Punch out a 3/4 ” circle and cut two slits in it, opposite each other.
8) Place this in the metal ornament topper.
9) Cover a fruit can in desired paper ( I used a jello cup)
10) Add crystal effects around edge of can.
11) Turn over ornament onto can and leave to dry.
12) Add ribbon as desired.
